Recently, I had the privilege of engaging with the team at QualiWare led by professionals like Kevin Bowles (Enterprise Architecture Product Owner), Thomas Pærregaard (Enterprise Architect), and Daniel Zorzi (Enterprise Architect). The QualiWare team provided me with an insightful overview of their Digital Twins of an Organization platform.

QualiWare X seamlessly combines strategy, process, application, information, organization, and technology. This holistic approach empowers organizations to seamlessly transition from strategy formulation to execution, facilitating digital transformation and consolidating enterprise structure within a unified platform.

One of the standout features of the QualiWare platform is its ability to facilitate change management across the organization through what-if scenario simulations within the digital twin framework. This functionality caters to diverse user personas, allowing for specific use cases to be addressed effectively.

During our discussion, the team highlighted several key areas of focus and enhancements within the QualiWare ecosystem:

  1. What-if Simulations: QualiWare continues to refine its capabilities in blending production data with diagrams, enabling highly visual simulations for complex models accessible to all user types.
  2. Collaboration Enhancements: Efforts are underway to improve collaboration among users, offering streamlined methods for importing and leveraging existing data. Improvements to the QualiApp facilitate internal data sourcing, governance, and workflow management by business users and other stakeholders.
  3. Quality of Life & Core Improvements: The platform introduces various improvements such as license sharing between servers, support for SCIM standards, upgraded dashboards, enhanced visualization filters, and support for OpenAPI files, among others.
  4. GenAI: QualiWare aims to expand its AI capabilities to encompass a broader range of model types and use cases, leveraging AI to accelerate analysis and simulation processes.
  5. Application Chaining & Integrations: The platform extends support for application chaining to seamlessly integrate with multiple systems within the organizational ecosystem, including competitor architecture tools.
  6. Augmented Reality Integration: QualiWare's augmented reality functionality bridges user devices with backend data, enabling users to access digital data related to scanned products or objects. The application effortlessly scans the QR code of any product, retrieving digital data associated with the product/object. This data is stored in the QualiWare repository, offering information, instructions, videos, and recommendations for various purposes including training, safety, and maintenance. Furthermore, the repository's content overlays onto the product, guiding users through potential actions upon interacting with different data points within the app.
  7. Digital Twin Partnership: Through a partnership with CBP , QualiWare offers advanced digital twin deployment options tailored to organizational transformation needs. These deployments enable the visualization of business operating models, process flows, and decision-making dashboards. It collects data from product/service activities, organizational structures, and other relevant sources, the platform facilitates process and cost flow visualization, constraint-based simulations, and decision-making dashboards. Additionally, it supports analytics and integrates with QualiWare scenario modelling, offering a range of analytics and performance charts within the platform.

The platform's highly configurable dashboard provides users with role-based insights and task lists, while its capability model supports performance data analysis, gap identification, and process creation facilitated by AI queries.

In summary, QualiWare's comprehensive Digital Twins of an Organization platform platform stands at the forefront of digital transformation, offering organizations a powerful suite of tools to navigate complex challenges and drive meaningful change across their operations.
