Sirion, a leading AI-native contract lifecycle management (CLM) company, has announced the acquisition of Eigen Technologies to strengthen its Document AI capabilities. Eigen, a top vendor in Document AI for financial services and insurance, has been a front-runner in data extraction and AI governance. This planned acquisition is intended to improve Sirion's abilities in Document AI by broadening its scope from contract analysis to complete document analysis, incorporating insights from contracts, invoices, purchase orders, and engineering reports.
The Single Extraction Agent (SEA) by Sirion has been trained on more than 10 million enterprise contracts using hundreds of language models and will be enhanced with Eigen's AI technology. This integration is anticipated to streamline wider business processes and enhance document intelligence greatly.
Sirion will create AI Research Centres in London and New York to back up this growth. These facilities will concentrate on enhancing AI capabilities, specifically for the financial sector, utilizing Eigen's knowledge in model oversight and adhering to regulations.
As per Anoch Mane, an analyst at Quadrant Knowledge Solutions, Sirion's acquisition of Eigen Technologies solidifies its position as a major player in the contract and document AI industry. Sirion can provide exceptional document insights and automation by integrating Eigen's Document AI and IDP platforms with Sirion's CLM and document workflow capabilities. This action both enhances Sirion's market standing and establishes a fresh benchmark for AI-powered document organization.
