OpenText Corp., a provider of enterprise software, announced today the expansion of its strategic partnership with Google Cloud to enable artificial intelligence-powered integrations that will assist organisations in utilizing information on the cloud platform into a competitive advantage. The new solutions introduced are generative AI applications based on Googles Vertex AI, which cover research and development, application delivery, business support, and sales and marketing. For a more seamless digital employee experience, OpenText Core for Google Workspace now features integrated collaboration, document management, and Google Vertex AI-powered insights. To help customers on mainframe infrastructure expedite their cloud migration journey, the new features include the ability to use Google solutions such as Google Dual Execute to execute the same workloads on-premises and in the cloud.

As part of the collaboration, OpenText is introducing a new integration with Google Workspace. Users of OpenText Core will be able to explore their enormous collections via Google Workspace workflows as a result of the cooperation. Employees may quickly access, manage, and change documentation across repositories and applications for any business process, such as hire-to-retire for human resources, procure-to-pay for finance, and design-to-market for research and development, using the integrated solution.

According to Arun U, analyst at Quadrant Knowledge Solutions, “ The partnership will help both OpenText and Google Cloud to meet the growing demand for cloud-based information management solutions. This will give organisations a single platform to manage data regardless of location and improve their security posture. OpenTexts added capabilities will help customers expedite their cloud journeys by migrating important workloads to Cloud infrastructure and develop them to successfully integrate data analytics and AI technologies”.
