Background -

Nintex, a key provider of process intelligence and automation solutions, recently unveiled their new capabilities powered by generative AI, supposedly aimed at simplifying content creation and translation, within automated workflows. The latest addition and commitment to their platform – ‘Nintex Assistant’, serves as an intelligent chatbot, offering users real-time assistance based on natural language queries (NLQs).

These enhancements to the ‘Nintex Process Platform’ further leverage the significance of generative AI, ensuring streamlined workflow development and management. This new development introduces and establishes the following features:

  • Form Generator: Accelerates the creation of customizable forms through a natural language text (NLT) input. This feature caters to a plethora of use cases including customer support, revenue operations, and employee onboarding, ultimately enhancing the overall efficiency across departments.
  • Form Translator: Complementing the ‘form generator’, Nintex further supports translations well into over 130 languages, facilitating absolute global collaboration, thus extending their workflow accessibility support.
  • Nintex Assistant: Integrated within the existing platform, the ‘Assistant’ responds promptly to specific user queries in natural language, offering contextual, customized and precise guidance. Although currently available within the ‘DocGen® for Salesforce’, the Nintex Assistant would soon be available for accessing across the entire spectrum of the ‘Nintex Process Platform’.

Analysis –

  • It seems Nintex have been quite consistent in enhancing the existing AI capabilities of their automation platform, integrating cutting-edge technologies like computer vision, RPA, and natural language processing (NLP) to further expedite the core business processes. Notable features such as the ‘Intelligent PDF Converter’ and the ‘Workflow Generator™’ sufficiently demonstrate Nintex's consistent intention and dedication to AI-driven automation, simplifying deployment for non-technical users and facilitating seamless data and system integration.
  • These latest additions further underscore the pivotal role of generative AI in their process automation efforts, streamlining the design processes on the Nintex Process Platform. This potentially marks the initial rollout of key AI-powered functionalities across the platform, aligning with the core business objectives of streamlining operations and eliminating/ significantly reducing the manual tasks.
  • Nintex customers’ surely stand to benefit significantly from these advancements, enabling them to seamlessly integrate advanced AI technologies into their daily workflows. In general, embracing generative AI represents a progressive and iterative journey, with automation serving as the backbone and stepping stone for unlocking the full potential of these initiatives, fostering consistent and enhanced organizational efficiency.
