Israeli cyber security firm Wiz raises $300 million in funding

U.S.-Israeli cyber security startup Wiz  raised $300 million in a private funding round which takes the valuation of firm at $10 billion. Wiz is currently focuses on cloud security and has raised $900 million from investors, including Sequoia Capital, Insight Partners, Blackstone and G Squared. Wiz built a holistic cloud-native platform which provides customers actionable insights in less time, showing them their vulnerability prone areas, the risks which they are facing, and what is the process of remediating them.

Wiz is now the worlds largest SaaS based Unicorn to reach 10 billion dollars. Wiz is continuously expanding its cloud security platform (CSPM & CNAPP) by doing addition of modules for Container and Kubernetes security, Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), and Cloud Detection and Response (CDR) which enables organizations to amalgamate their programmes related to cloud security to a single platform which is cloud based.

Analyst Perspective

Israeli cyber security firm Wiz is now able to focus more on enhancing its cloud platform in terms of security and infrastructure and also can boost its cloud security programmes, thus Wiz can help organization to strengthen its security infrastructure.
