IBM and Intel have recently partnered to introduce the ‘Intel® Gaudi® 3 AI Accelerators’ as a service on the IBM Cloud, thus enhancing the overall AI scalability and cost efficiency. Building on their longstanding previous collaboration, this initiative further targets those industries requiring absolute secure and compliant cloud solutions. The Gaudi 3-powered service, which is expected to launch in the early part of 2025, aims to exclusively drive enterprise AI innovation, while leveraging the IBM Cloud’s robust security and hybrid capabilities. As the first cloud service provider to be adopting Gaudi 3, IBM will integrate this technology into its Watsonx AI and data platform. This would ensure that the clients are offered advanced and enhanced infrastructure for generative AI inferencing across the plethora of hybrid and on-premise environments.
