Contextual AI Inc., a startup that builds massive language models for businesses, announced today that Google Cloud is its preferred cloud provider. Several aspects of the companys operations will be powered by Google Cloud services. Most significantly, it intends to train its language models using Googles infrastructure. Contextual AI also intends to leverage Googles own TPU machine learning CPUs.  Google claims that the processor is 2.1 times faster and nearly three times more power-efficient than previous-generation silicon.  According to Contextual AI, the language models it is training on Google Cloud will be applicable to a wide range of use cases, and customer assistance is one area where its technology can be used. Furthermore, it sees chances to employ its language models in the financial sector.

Contextual AI allows organisations to realize the full potential of AI by rooting language models in their internal knowledge bases and data sources. Contextual Language Models (CLMs), which are built by Google Cloud, will construct responses that are personalized to an enterprises data and institutional knowledge, resulting in increased accuracy, better compliance, reduced delusion, and the ability to trace answers back to source documents.
