Automation Anywhere Deploys Gemini Model-driven Process Automation on Google Cloud, Promoting Advanced Business Transformation Capabilities

Background -

Based on a recent announcement, Automation Anywhere has enhanced their existing AI-powered automation platform by integrating with it  - Google Cloud's ‘Gemini Models’. This development has led to the platform being enabled to handle powerful multimodal use cases like hospital patient communications and loan underwriting, amongst many others. Through an expanded partnership and the combined might of Google’s Generative AI with their own customized Generative AI automation models, Automation Anywhere is aggressively launching customizable generative-AI solutions specifically targeted for enterprises, effectively promoting rapid value realization.

It must be noted that, Automation Anywhere's ‘Automation Success Platform’ is deployable via the Google Cloud Marketplace and is powered by generative AI and specialized AI, and offers RPA, process discovery, and end-to-end process orchestration, amongst other things. While majority vendors deploy their on-prem softwares through virtual machines, Automation Anywhere serves multiple hundreds of enterprise clients by running advanced process automations directly on Google Cloud, leveraging generative AI for productivity and cost efficiency. Leveraging Google Cloud's advanced capabilities, Automation Anywhere empowers employees to request automations, generate content, and automate workflows using natural language, enhancing productivity and facilitating overall business transformation.

  • By leveraging its efforts and progress through years of AI advancement put together, Automation Anywhere's platform introduces enhanced value by enabling multimodal automation across various use cases, which could be seen as follows -
  • Strengthening anti-money laundering efforts: Automation Anywhere's platform enhances AML compliance by seamlessly integrating Google Cloud's AML AI into investigation workflows, aiding in gathering key data points and consequently generating critical suspicious activity reports, primarily for financial institutions.
  • Enhancing patient communications: Generative AI also leads in generating a crisp and precise post discharge summaries in audio formats in patients' native languages, facilitating better comprehension of their current healthcare information, and further possible or necessary steps needed to be taken.
  • Streamlining underwriting: In the commercial lending and insurance space, generative AI primarily streamlines underwriting by analysing the existing videos, images, and texts, and summarizing the critical information to expedite the overall  process.
  • Improving accuracy of the extracted data through automation: Generative AI effectively automates extraction of relevant data from textual content and images, verifying aspects like retail barcodes and pharmaceutical package details to uphold quality standards and ensure reliability and discretion.
  • It is thus evident that, partnering with Google Cloud grants Automation Anywhere a verified and sure-shot access to a range of top-tier machine learning (ML) models, such as MedLM, amongst others. (It must be noted that MedLM, a pre-built solution automates after-visit summaries, alleviating doctors' and healthcare professionals' workload significantly and reducing the associated burnout as well). Thus, the company’s collaborative, industry-specific solutions actively leverage generative AI-powered automation to enable and ensure consistent peak performance in a secure, responsible AI environment. It is expected that with the relevant Gemini models, Automation Anywhere would enable robustly streamlined task operations, reducing manual workloads by at-least up to 40%, delivering a commendable and consistent return on investment (RoI).
